More parking spaces being planned
CAR parking in Blackpool is to come under the spotlight to make sure there are enough spaces in the town centre as it is redeveloped.
Council bosses are planning to bring more jobs into the central part of the resort, meaning it is vital there are enough spaces for workers.
And the £220m redevelopment of Talbot Gateway will also lead to a change in parking.
The Talbot bus station car park will remain in place for now but a new car park is due to open before Christmas when the indoor bowling centre on Lark Hill Street is demolished. [read more]
